long and tiring day

This is a very long and heavy day. I had a party last night and I couldn't refresh myself. I went to the bed at about 5 a.m. and unfortunately I had to get up at 9 o'clock because of an orchestral test. And what is more I had to learn a lot for the next week. I'm going to write 5 tests during 3 days. It will be awful.

But something else about the orchestra. We will give a Christmas concert on the 21st of December. This occurs in every year and it is always memorable. I like it very much. It's a very good feeling to play to the audience. Christmas concert is the most significant event in the 'life of the orchestra'. We perform those pieces what we learned in that year. We always enjoyed a big success till now. I wait for it very much.

Do you like music? And concerts?

Good night!

five-finger exercise;)

Once upon a time the beautiful Julia suddenly came to the old, dirty and dilapidated balcony to feel what the weather was like and watered the flourishing flowers cruelly instead of sleeping quietly in the large living room with a fat but handsome taxi driver.:):)

I think this is a really funny exercise, isn't it?:)

A special day for me

My birthday is coming soon and I started to think about it. About birthday... Its significance... Does it mean the same for everybody? I think not. Every person has an individual opinion about it.

But for me...This event is very important in my life and not because of the surprises, but the celebration. In my family it is common that if somebody has a birthday or a nameday the others will greet her in the early morning when she just wakes up. If it doesn't happen she won't be really happy on HER day, because we got into the habit of it. It can be strange for somebody but it's quite the thing in my family and I like it:) My mother and sisters can always surprise and make me happy. These days always start easily even if I must go to school :)

In these celebrations the most important thing to me is not to get as many gifts as possible rather to get much love. This is the most significant thing I need.
And my friends...They are always with me on my birthdays or namedays, and not only on these days but also in my whole life. They are also very important to me.
What does a person worth without friends and family? I think almost nothing. You can always count on them.
And I know they will be among those who greet me at first. My real friends...

I can't wait my birthday! In this year it will be more special because the 'storkball' will be held on that day too; it will be on Thursday. I also like this event.
So I think I will celebrate my 21st birthday well with my friends and groupmates.
I recommend this ball to everyone because this is the 'great day' of underclassmen and it's held only once a year.

Come and have some fun together!;)
Have a nice week!

Unforgettable day

Hi everybody,

Yesterday I was in the Mecsextrém Park with my family and it was a fantastic and unforgettable experience for me and also for my sisters and mother. As a result of the varied weather the opportunities for entertainment were limited. But I tried out as many 'games' as possible. My first adventure was the Alpesi kötélpark. For this alpine ropes course I had to put on some kind of protective clothing. This clothing consists of a safety helmet and some kind of belt around my legs and my waist. Here I am without a helmet yet.
After I'd got these equipments I could start my adventure with ropes. At first I should have performed the trainer field. When I succeeded in doing it I could start the initial, the advanced and the extreme fields. And there was also Tyrol slide where we had to slide all along the longer and longer rope-railways. The ropes are among the branches of the trees, at 6-8 and 9 meters high, consisting of 45 elements. I went through all of the fields. Although at the end of the extreme field I was really tired, I liked the whole very much. My mother and my elder sister went along 'only' the trainer, the initial fields and the Tyrol slide. But they also enjoyed them very much. While we were exploring the exciting world of the trees my little sister was playing in the indoor playground.

After I had climbed all along the ropes, like Tarzan;), I went to ride a quad. I hadn't tried it before. As it had been raining for about half an hour, the ground became very muddy. It goes without saying that at the end of my laps I was all in a muck. :) It is very funny, isn't it?

And last but not least I also tried out the forest bobsled. It was a great experience that its carriages are rushing above valleys and streams in the forest, among trees. The 1 km long 'journey' started on the top of a hill and the adventure ended up the starting point.

I wanted to try out the climbing wall too, but it didn't work because of the bad weather. I hope everything will be available if I go there next time. Although today morning I could hardly get up due to muscle strain in every parts of my body, yesterday was awesome for me.

I can recommend this leisure center to everyone who likes relaxing, forgetting about everyday problems and having fun. It's pretty good place.
Get together your friends and go to the Mecsextrém Park! ;) You won't regret it!

Have a nice week!

Dancing Queen

Hello,

I have a task for the RWS course, which is to choose a song that I like and analyse it in some ways. My choice is Dancing Queen by ABBA. I have chosen it for 3 reasons. At first I like this song very much, secondly this is in the repertoire of our orchestra and finally, I have a nice experience with this song.

In my last orchestral camp, me and my 2 girlfriends rewrote some parts of it and gave some kind of dancing and singing show to our friend, because he got married a few months earlier and he told us he would like a 'bachelor day' only with us :)
As we learnt the song with the 'new lines' I liked it more and more.

And now as I'm listening to it again I can find out that the instrumentation consists of only 2 instruments, the piano and the guitar. Maybe it's not such a great discovery, but these 2 musical elements can give a very good sound. And the song is pretty dynamic.

On the whole I like all ABBA songs and of course the movie, Mamma Mia! as well!;)
Have you seen it? If not, you should! :)

Good appetite and have a nice day!

Adventure guide to Jamaica

Hi there,

I searched for a book among Google Books, and I've found a guide book, called Adventure guide to Jamaica. I chose some parts of it. I'm interested in music so I read about Jamaican music, its history and about the performers. Here is a little taste of the music tendencies.

There are four music trends in Jamaica.
The most significant are the reggae and the ska. "Reggae sings of the problems of the island, and to listen to its Lyrics is to learn more about life in the villages beyond the resorts and most especially in the capital city of Kingston." But there was also the mento, first brought music to Jamaica from Africa. And the other was the dancehall, which is a variant of reggae. And now I mention some performers: Bob Marley, Jimmy Cliff, Burning Spear, Bunny Wailer and so on.

But I wouldn't like to 'talk' about them because if you are also interested in these people you can read these pages and know their discography. Are you curious about them?

It is an exciting reading and with it you can know more about Jamaica. You can get acquainted with not only the music, but also the location of the island nation and the culture of it.
So I recommend it to everyone who would like to know more about other cultures, especially the Jamaican.

Have a nice sunny day;)

After a long day...

Hello,

After a long day, fortunately I'm again at home. This was a quite hard day for me, the last time of the Balcan course. I had 2 lectures: Literary and the Screen of the Balcan.
And finally I went to Apollo Art Cinema to see a croatian film, called The Living and the Dead.

It was a warlike film. The story of the film consists of two parallel threads. One of them takes place during the war in Bosnia in 1993, while the other story is set during the Wold War II.
It was a great film, but the story of it was staggering. I wouldn't like to live in this kind of world. Why should they kill each other? I really don't understand at all. But I know it was a war so they had to fight even if they didn't want. Anyway it could be really hard to live this way.
I recommend this story those people who like these kinds of films.

But the close of this day was more gladsome, because when we arrived to Szigetvár we could enjoy a splendid musical performance given by a great singer. I liked it very much.

Now I should learn for the next week, because I will have 3 tests.
Have a good night!
